Friday: Gabe picked up the ladder in the Prius. It fit. I was surprised. Gabe scoffed at the mention of that. Family Time-Cuddles and Snuggles.
Saturday: Morning walk. Park time. We went down a slide. A really high and long one. I was scared needless to say. Dirk loved it. We are going to remember to bring something to tape it next weekend.
Home-Depot trip for paint. Dirk and Dad Day as I painted. Family trip to La Casa Blanca-Dirk’s first experience at a restaurant. He made it until the check came(nap time).
Paint and Dusted the family room. Check! Re-finished more door knobs. Check! Prep a slow cooker meal for Sunday. Check! Head to Michaels to pick-up supplies for another DIY project. Check!
Sunday: Coffee. Paper. Coupons. Family walk to the park. Dirk in the car… vrrooommmm! He is getting soooo strong! Re-finish more door knobs(apparently we have A LOT of doors). Laundry. Baby Girl sleeping in clean laundry(le sigh). Blog(in-progress while Dirk naps). Put in yummy goodness that is the slow cooker. Excited for sausage, chicken and potato feast tonight while we watch the Oscars after Dirk goes to sleep. He now goes to sleep around 8ish instead of 9ish. And sleeps a whole(please don’t let this jinx me) 12 hours. PURE BLISS. I feel like a human again.
