Hello loved ones! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Mine was simply fabulous because my little sister was able to come down from WA to spend some quality time in the sunshine.
We were able to go to the river on Friday after my Ultrasound appt… it was great having her at the appointment with me- she knows everything(almost-soon to be nurse) about the body and filled me in after about what she saw. The tech gave us a disc with all of the pictures and we received a disc with the entire appointment so Gabe was able to see exactly what we saw. I was completely surprised about the little take-home gifts and the hubby definitely teared up when he was able to see our little dude’s face. It was a scrunched up angry face… he continuously punched the wand and we have PROOF of it now on camera. Magical feeling seeing the little one’s face.
Changing subjects… blame it one the pregnancy brain… scattered brain syndrome-didn’t think it exists = but it SO DOES.
Rachel and I were able to go to the river which was basically empty = relaxing. We were able to see 23 wild horses playing and drinking out of the river. I love horses and it was incredible seeing the babies on Friday and some of the same horses that we saw when we went on a weekday two years ago. Perfect bliss.
We went to the pool to stay on the trend with relaxation being key, almost every day after breakfast.
On Saturday night we went to Tempe to a comedy club and were in stitches ALL NIGHT! I haven’t laughed that hard and that long in months! And I was able to stay up til midnight and be DD. That is a true feat with my usual bedtime being 10ish : ).
Today I had an incident at home where I lost a lot of liquid and etc : / yuck. I didn’t think anything of it… pregnancy does some weird things to your body, until I finished work at 3:30PM and called my mom. Immediately she tells me to call the doc, doc says come right in, it took about an hour to get ahold of Gabe- we have since worked out some of the communication errors of our “emergency system”. Baby is doing well and I have no major leaks from my amniotic sack but apparently I lost some fluid. So taking it really easy tonight with my legs up, browsing the web and updating the blog : ). So glad that everything is okay! <3 THANK GOODNESS <3
