Friday:
Taco Night- One of the only things that consistently has sounded good this entire pregnancy. And then there was the dessert… my oh my…. had a fabulous chocolate milkshake made by Chef Gabriel. Great cuddle time spent on the couch. Oh and on Thursday- Arizona beat UCLA!!! Love the new coaches personality- way to be a positive influence on young men Kish.
Saturday:
I actually woke up Gabe Saturday morning a little after 6AM. Why?!? Because the Baby was awake, therefore, I was awake. Such a strong little soccer player <3. We went and gassed the car up in the nice cooler weather and got some yummy donuts at the grocery store and then I got to get ready to go some where!!!! Drum roll please…… The ZOO! I called my Doctor on Friday to see if I could go to the Phoenix Zoo with Gabe and she said yes! With a lot of conditions, but hey, I got to go outside AND see animals!
The CEOs and President of Gabe’s company were holding a luncheon on the lake. It was great to meet them, see some of Gabe’s coworkers and gnaw on some incredibly tasty BBQ. We arrived right after the zoo opened so that we could see the animals be ‘active’ before the heat kicks in. Favorites: Hearing the tiger roar, watching a lioness roll around like our cat, Baby Girl, giraffes, rhinos and an assortment of exquisite birds! Gabe’s highlight was the jaguar enclosure… he(the jaguar) made me nervous because out of all the people in the crowd he was staring at me… I guess he was picking out the old, the weak and the pregnant from the crowd, aka me. Haha.
