Stormtroopers, Snuggle Bunnies & Mastitis: Our Week

Bath Buddies & Best Friends!

Em and The Toddler are now taking baths together, which makes bed time twice as easy and twice the fun! While The Husband enjoys some adorable company, I can clean up the rooms, put away laundry and get out all our outfits for the next day-which usually is three for Em and two for The Toddler. The temperature has hit back up in the 90s-which is detestable-but frankly normal for the desert. Can’t wait for the 70s to make their way back into our lives!

The Toddler insisted on this. Actually he mandated this. Oh the power of love and a strong will. The Husband even went out to get the mail like this. Adorable Overload.

Our Snuggle Bunny- Thank you Uncle Bill, Aunt Darcy and M!

Keep your distance, though, Chewie, but don’t look like you’re trying to keeping your distance. [Chewie barks a question] I don’t know. Fly casual.

Pure Sweetness. With Rolls.

I now own glasses. My first pair. I can SEE again! Love this pair from Costco. Goal: comfort and affordability.

Disney Parade

The Toddler took part in the annual Disney Costume Parade. Now that Star Wars has officially been bought by Disney we thought it was only appropriate that he go as a Jedi/Stormtrooper. “These aren’t the droids you are looking for.” Nerd alert. Perhaps, now you see why the helmet made it’s appearance so many times this week. The Toddler was the lone boy in a sea of princesses.

Thirty princesses and a Jedi.

There was a dance party, trick or treating, and making a monster bag activity. The Toddler loved every bit of it-especially the parade! He puffed out his chest and walked proudly around.

The last three weeks I have felt like I was dying on the inside. Literally. Dying. My lymph nodes swelled up to the size of two fists and I kept breaking a fever at night. Good-times. I look great I tell yah! Apparently, I shouldn’t try to tough things out anymore… Because I have a bad case of Mastitis. BADDDD.(In your best sheep voice-humor me-I’m tired). Two Nurse Practitioners practically jumped out of their skin when they saw it. Ten days of antibiotics should do the trick. Hoping to feel normal soon!

Our plan for the weekend includes carving our pumpkins, roasting marshmallows in the backyard, and relaxing!

Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?
