I believe it is always necessary to be prepared for everything as a mom to two young, active toddlers. This kit ensures that you are ready for almost any flu or cold that inevitably comes your way throughout the year! I keep a medical kit in both of our cars, medicine is located upstairs and downstairs(benedryl is always around for my food allergy toddler) and this kit is in our coffee cupboard. The nose aspirator is one of our go-to favorites when cold season hits. We wash our hands all the time but we also don’t miss a chance for Toddler Time at our community center, the park, and local events clad with kids…. where all the awesome germs hang out. And kids? They touch EVERYTHING.
Needlesstosay we have our share of colds. Summer colds? Oh yes, even those. The Children’s Museum is a smorgasbord of fun AND snotty nosed kids. Does that make us stop going? Of course not. We do the best we can and this kit is there for us when we need it.
Thankfully we have yet to use the Burnjel or Liquid Skin with either of our two toddler’s but you just never know when you will need it.
Band-aids are only used if completely necessary and we try not to have them wear them if they are going to sleep for nap or night time due to the choking hazard.
