Your personality sure shines these days! You are the sweetest, happiest baby I know and we count our blessings every day that you are in our lives. We are so lucky to have you as our daughter!
At your six month check-up:
Weight: 15lbs 6 ounces 35%
Height: 27 Inches 80%
Teeth: Two
Clothes: 9 Month onesies, 12 month pants, 12 month footed sleepers
The Doctor found a heart murmur at your six month well check-up. We are seeing a specialist on Thursday. Nothing to note other than we need more information. Hoping with all hope that it is nothing and that you are going to be healthy and happy for years to come. UPDATE: You have a hole in your heart that we are all hoping will close naturally and you have some false tendons in your left ventricle that are rather large-we are checking on them in six months to see if we need to operate. We are hoping with all hope that this will take care of itself naturally and the tendons will reattach to the wall of the LV.
You are long and lean little one. We are supposed to keep on giving you three meals of solids a day- hoping that your appetite will continue to increase-and that you will broaden your horizons on new foods.
So far we have tried: rice cereal, sweet potatoes, green beans, pears and peaches. Favorite hands-down is rice cereal. Next favorite? Sweet potato.
You are a little mover and a shaker! You can crawl backwards on all fours-hilarious-you work so hard to move around and get a better view of what your big brother is up to. You have been able to roll both ways for the last couple of months-but rolling coupled with crawling backwards means you are now mobile enough that I have to be weary of where your big brother’s toys are.
Your favorite toy is your big brother! You love him with all your heart- he loves you right on back! You will laugh at each other, share toys, kisses, and nuzzles. ADORABLE.
You love reading with us!
You are much better in the car than you were two months ago. But you still don’t do long trips very well.
You are perfectly fine hanging out in the Ergo when we go to the park, zoo, or to another activity.
Your smile melts our hearts little one. We love you with all our hearts.
