There is a lot I must do before we leave tonight on our vacation.
Yesterday we continued with our need for moaning and groaning about the day… must hurt like the dickens to cut teeth… expecting another one any day now. So with a baby on my hip(an inconsolable one at that) I managed to set out clothes for both Dirk and I and make a pile of necessities to bring with us. Last night I was a cleaning machine(because who really likes to come back to a smelly, messy house?) and the kitchen, fridge, and counters everywhere were Lysoled down. All laundry is clean, folded and waiting to be put-away/packed. As of now our paper is on “vacation hold” so no creepers will see a pile on our driveway. Now to just pack everything into the little Prius-who is gassed up, tires rotated, new oil change and waiting to get its’ new tires in some Pacific Beach sand(you know, because cars need vacations too-especially the Green Lantern). As soon as Gabe hits the door home from work we are outta here! Would love some good thoughts on our first long car trip with Dirk <3.
