1. Sleeve-less Top from Old Navy:
I LOVE how airy this feels in the hot desert! Temperatures got up to 106F this past weekend and this was my go-to shirt for a friend’s birthday party. I own this in mint and dark blue-thanks Darcy for my fabulous mint tank! I would buy this in every color… perhaps by the end of summer I may have quite the collection.
2. Freshly Picked Moccasins:
Goodness gracious are these one beautiful pair of shoes! I am head over heals in love with this beautiful pair in Aruba! Miss Em will be sporting this pair on our trip to California in June. Stay tuned for a fabulous giveaway with Freshly Picked for my lovely readers!
3. Babiators:
Little Em and The Toddler sport these exact pairs EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. Desert living is rough on their poor eyes, so if they have to cover up, might as well look good doing so. The Toddler has yet to be able to destroy them-he has wrecked three pairs of mine, one of my husband’s, and three generic “toddler” brands. So… they hold up nicely.
4. Girl’s Headband:
Sweet Em has three of these headbands from Target-white, dark blue, and the flavorful flower one pictured. She doesn’t pull these off, nor are they too tight. I love the retro feel and how adorable she looks in them!
5. Avenno Positively Radiant:
So I just saw the commercial with Jennifer Aniston- And no, I did not purchase this because she put her name on it. For as long as I can remember my cheeks, forehead, and nose have had a rosy hue to them. Oh, and I breakout-like a thirteen year old. So… I am almost thirty, rosy, and breakout. Well, most moisturizers make me too oily, breakout, or more irritated. This moisturizer is the Bees Knees. I have tried most everything in the moisturizer aisle that is within my price point(can’t get addicted to something expensive) and in all my years this is the one that has helped clear up my skin, it has clearly evened my skin tone, and does not make me shiny. Plus, the added benefit of SPF makes this active mom super happy!

We are off to National Geographic Kids this morning… singing, dancing- going to be a blast! Our plans for the weekend are to BBQ- hit the pool and splash pad- and relax at home.
