Now that Emma Marie is two and is ALL about having an opinion of her own(hello toddlerdom) she excitedly picked out Scooby Doo as her costume of choice for this Halloween. Adorable? YES. Scooby Doo is an old time favorite at our house and I am so thrilled that from the time she picked a costume out, cough cough August, cough cough, that she has been steadfast in her ways that she will be trick or treating in this fabulous costume. The outfit cost under ten dollars as ALL of it was purchased from Goodwill. Shaggy truly does love Scooby Doo and Emma Marie is just smitten that she will be accompanied by someone in character.

My family dressed up every year, all of us, so it just feels right continuing the tradition. Plus who doesn’t love the light in your kid’s eyes when they see you in rare form(playing dress up in public).
